How do I create Tasks?

Tasks are great for tracking various milestones during the life of an Agreement.  Tasks are assigned by the Licensor and can be assigned to an internal user or to a Licensee. The task "owner" will receive an email when a task is assigned, and if it is not completed prior to the due date, will receive another email that it is past due.  You can either set up tasks from your home page, or within a specific Agreement.

From the Agreement page, select "Tasks".

1. Enter the date the task is due 2. Assign it to an owner from the drop-down list 3. Enter the task description 4. Select "Create"

The task owner receives and email notifying them they have been assigned a task.

You can also add tasks directly from your Dashboard. To do so, select 1. Tasks and 2. New Task

From this page, you will also need to select the Agreement.
