The Name & Template Mapping allows you to:
- View and delete custom sales upload templates created by all users.
- View and delete mappings created when uploading sales or bulk products.
- Mappings created via the bulk product upload are labeled with a mapping type *Product* and the mappings are available for all products uploads regardless of the agreements.
- Mappings created via a sales upload are labeled with a mapping type *Sales* and these are specific to the Licensee
This is also a good location to view what licensee and licensor are mapping data to, and cleaning up the data.
Maintaining the data by occasionally deleting old mapping that are no longer accurate is a good practice. This way the data is up to date.
Deleting custom sales upload
To delete custom sales upload template mapping.
Go to Profile> Set Up> Name & Template Mapping
The top part of the mapping will be all the sales upload template that have been used.
To clean up simply select the "x".
Next time a user upload their own template the system will ask them to remap and give it a new name.
How to delete mapped data
As a user with the specific rights, will have the ability to delete individual mapping on SKU, Property, Distribution Method, Territories and Retailers.
Deleting mapping is always a good exercise to perform to ensure users have not mapped data incorrectly.
Go to Profile>Set Up> Name & Template Mapping
At the bottom part of the page the user can see all mapping that has taken place, for either ALL data or on specific agreement.
To delete, simply select the check box of the line needing deleting and press delete.
