How Do I Create an Agent?

You can create agents and agent users to add to your Agreements so they can manage the agreements for you. Agents can:

1. Upload and submit sales

2. Submit products for approval (if you use RoyaltyZone Product Manger)

3. Add products (if your product management options are open)

 

Select "Agents", then select "Create New Agent"

Enter the Agent Company, the first and last name, and email for the primary agent user.

Note: We recommend the primary user be the individual who will have the normal day-to-day responsibilities of managing the account, usually the person who handles the royalty reporting.

Next, select the Properties that the agent can manage

  1. Use the filter to filter for specific properties or groups of properties
  2. Use the "check all" function to select all filtered items
  3. Use the checkbox to select "All" current and future properties

Select your Categories, Territories and Distribution Methods in the same manner as you selected your Properties

  1. The table shows your selections
  2. Select "Create" when done

Once added, your agents will show in the Agents table

  1. You can export a list of your agents
  2. You can view the Agent Address Book
  3. Selecting the agent name will take you to the agent record
  4. You can delete the Agent

In the agent record, on the Agreements tab, you can view the agreements the agent is assigned to

You can edit users, add new users, and reinvite users on the Address Book tab

  1. View your user profile
  2. Edit your user profile
  3. Reinvite your user
  4. Add new contacts and users

On the Profile tab, you can edit the company information

On the Rights tab, you can edit the Properties, Categories, Territories and Distribution Methods available for licensing by this Agent.
