You can upload your own products if you have an Open product management system. All other product management systems (Closed, RZ PRoduct Manager, MediaBox, ProofTrak) must use the product management system designated for submission of new products.
If your Licensor uses a product management system, and you have existing products not submitted via that system, they must be sent to your Licensor to upload. Please follow the steps below and once you have created your csv upload file, email it to your Licensor for uploading.
Select "Upload" On Products Page in Agreement, or from Step 2 "Manage Products" of royalty submittal process
Licensees can only upload their own products if their Product Management is Open. Otherwise, licensees may follow the steps for preparing the upload file and send it to their Licensor for uploading.

Add Data to the Product Template
- SKU
- Required
- Part number or unique identifier
- Any alphanumeric value. Duplicate SKUs are not permitted.
- Description
- Required
- Product name or descriptive information.
- Any alphanumeric value.
- Property
- Required
- Enter the property utilized by the product.
- Must match an existing property (copy and paste from the upload page).
- Category
- Required
- Enter the category that best describes the product.
- Must match an existing category (copy and paste from the upload page).
- SKU Alias
- Optional
- This column can contain SKU Aliases separated by semi-colons.
- Any alphanumeric value. Duplicate SKUs are not permitted.
- Bundle Factor
- Optional
- Must be between 0 and 100.
- Reporting Note
- Optional
- Capture additional data for this product.
- Any alphanumeric value.
- Manufacturer
- Optional
- This column can contain manufacturer IDs separated by semi-colons
- Must match existing manufacturer
Entries for Property and Category must match exactly those provided in RoyaltyZone as shown on the Product Upload Page
Reference the "Available Properties and Categories" table on product upload page for proper nomenclature.
You can "Export your Available Properties and Categories" to a .csv file
Once your Product Data Template is filled out, save it as a .csv file
NOTE: Depending on your software program, your "Save As" options may look different than this example
Once you have completed and saved your Product Data Template, upload it to RoyaltyZone, or if directed, email it to your Licensor.
- Choose your file from its saved location
- Checked by default. Uncheck if you do not have a header row
- Check if you want to ignore duplicates. NOTE: use if you are loading from a cumulative list of products that contains items that are already in RoyaltyZone
- Select "Upload"
Review the upload for accuracy and click "Save"
Click "Cancel" if the upload data appears out of order or incorrect.
Your Products are now available to view, edit and report on!
