This document may contain information of a confidential, proprietary and/or sensitive nature. This document and the information in it may not be reproduced or disclosed to any unauthorized users without the prior written permission of FilmTrack, Inc (here-to-forth known as ‘The Company’). Any unauthorized reproduction or disclosure of this document or the information contained in it is strictly prohibited. All authorized reproductions (either in whole or in part) shall bear this confidentiality notice.
There are two choices for entering historical royalties into RoyaltyZone:
1. Upload the sales transactions and submit an actual royalty report (see "How do I submit a royalty report" tutorial)
2. Use the "Enter Royalties" link to enter total royalty due for one or more reporting periods (covered in this tutorial)
1. Enter the "Manage" page for the desired guarantee (NOTE: you must enter historical royalties separately for each active guarantee on the agreement)
2. Select the desired royalty reporting period
3. Enter the total royalties due for the reporting period, before the advance is applied. RoyaltyZone will recoup the advance as appropriate.
4. The amount entered is credited towards the recoupable balance, if appropriate
5. The amount entered also appears on the "Royalties" tab
6. An invoice will be created for when appropriate. Be sure to mark the invoice as "Paid"
7. NOTES:
1. The royalty report will still appear as "Unreported" on the "Manage Royalties" page for the reporting period. Change the "Royalty Start Date" for the agreement to get rid of unnecessary reports.
2. Enter a negative value to create a credit for royalty overpayments
