If Custom Details is not enabled, the licensee will provide one line of detail for each applicable period. If enabled, you will have the ability to create additional details lines for the licensees to provide per reporting period.
This will give you the ability to review your forecast at different level.
To enable "Custom Details": Go to Profile> Set Up> Forecast > Fill out the form and on the last page a check box to "Enable Details" will be available.
1. Select Enable
To create or modify Custom Details lines:
1. Select Add/Edit
2. Select +Detail Name to create a new Custom Detail line
3. Enter in the Custom Detail Name or Edit one that is already there
4. Select the trash can icon to remove a line.
5. History tracks changes to Custom Details by user and date change was made.
Note: All forecasts entered for the line you delete will be removed and not recoverable.
At least one Custom Detail line is required.
Every Agreement with Forecasting enabled will be required to enter data for each detail line created.
Royalty Zone will sum the amounts entered for each detail line. Actual will be compared against the total only.
The Agreement level view will show data By Period and By Detail line.
