At times the reported royalties will not recoup from the guarantee correctly. Below are some tools that can help identify the reason royalties are not applying to the guarantee correctly.
If the numbers don't match. Export the "Report Summary".
The summary report will give you the specific data that is not recouping. Remember: It's either an, Invoice Date, Property, Category, Territory or Distribution Method.
Column I of the report will let you know which of the variable are not recouping.
The example above, shows that the Property, Category and Territory is recouping but the Distribution Method is not.
In this case the user would have to amend the agreement select the Distribution Method to the guarantee and recalculate.
If the summary report does not list anything wrong. Pull the "Report Details" and "Sales Data" reports.
Review the invoice date, if the licensee reported the sales in a different accounting period, those sales will not apply to the guarantee.

Always remember, in most case when the guarantee is not recouping correctly look at one of the following: Invoice Date, Territory, Distribution Method, Category, Property.
