How Can I Use Agreement Categories to Define Royalty Rates on Participation Agreements?

Updated on

Using Agreement Categories is an easy way to assign one royalty rate to a group of source agreements when setting up a Participant Agreement

On the royalty rate setup page, 1. enter the royalty rate name,  2. Select the calculation,  3. Set the rate term start and end dates and  4. add description (optional)

Select the agreement category for the rate and select 'next'

Enter the amount and select 'Save'

Once you use a category on a royalty rate, it is removed from your list of categories when setting up additional royalty rates

You can view the royalty rates and their details on the Participation Agreement Royalty Rates Page
