Secure Login

Updated on

Multifactor Authentication is a layered approach to securing data and applications where a system requires a user to present a combination of two or more credentials to verify a user’s identity for login. MFA increases security because even if one credential becomes compromised, unauthorized users will be unable to meet the second authentication requirement and will not be able to access the targeted physical space, computing device, network, or database.

What to expect if you are a current user?

1. You will be prompter to change your password and answer security questions.

2. Login again with your new password.

3. Check your email for an access code.

4. Enter the access code.

5. Continue with your work.

Things to Know!

* Your password will expire every 60 days.

* After 5 failed login attempts, you will need to wait for 1 hour to try again or reset your password.

* Access code will be sent to your email.

* Resetting your password requires you to answer one of your security questions.

* You cannot change your password more than one time per 24- Hour period.

Password Requirements

  • Cannot reuse the last eight (8) passwords.
  • Must be at least twelve (12) characters.
